Jay is thrilled to have joined the GFH Connect team and brings with him over 12 years of experience in higher education, serving in a variety of roles. We often talk about the importance of creating community for our residents. However, it doesn't stop there because we have created community at the workplace too. It's truly something special and makes me excited to come into work and see everyone."

You've Got This: Encouragement for Finals Week

Finals week is a testament to your hard work and dedication throughout the quarter. Remember, it's not just about the books; it's about balance and support, too. Take moments to breathe and recharge—your best is more than enough.

As you find your study rhythm, here's are some strategies that might enhance your focus:
• A quiet place to study can sometimes make all the difference in concentration. You can reserve a study room for yourself or your study group here: Community Room Reservations.
• Stay hydrated and remember to nourish your mind and body.
• Breaks are your friends; they help retain what you learn.

Most importantly, Graduate and Family Housing staff are rooting for you every step of the way. If you need a space to study or just a word of encouragement, we're here. You're not alone on this journey.

Good luck—though we know you won't need it. You're prepared for this, and we're excited to see you shine!

📚 Exciting news for our book lovers – a new chapter is about to begin at GFH! We're thrilled to announce that the GFH Community Book Share is coming soon, conveniently located next to Tierra. This 'Little Library' initiative is a collective effort by the Nuevo East office and our skilled maintenance team, who are bringing this project to life as a gift to our community. It's a space designed for sharing the joy of reading, exchanging favorite tales, and connecting over stories. While our staff has been gathering books to kickstart the collection, we welcome and encourage your contributions to the library once it has been installed. Stay tuned for its debut and get ready to swap, share, and enjoy books with your neighbors! 📚
