A group of TK, 4th and 5th graders here at D39C used the design thinking process to create a pop-up market sale in order to raise money for the Giving Tree. In just 3 weeks learners used their superpowers and knowledge of trends and interests across campus to create various items to sell.

Thanks to the teamwork, creativity, dedication designers put into this along with the generosity of our campus, we raised $3,524.55! The cheering and smiles on the designer faces who put this together said it all. They are incredibly proud knowing they’ve made a meaningful difference for multiple families this holiday season.
