Psychedelic Seminars is an educational conversation series deepening awareness of the benefits, risks, and complexities of psychedelics.

In parallel to the new wave of research from MAPS to Johns Hopkins, we progress the cultural understanding through discussions with scientists, authors, activists, and entertainers. As psychedelics enter the mainstream, we cultivate the necessary critical thinking and community building, bringing together thousands in person and online.

We wanted to give a huge thank you to our guest speakers that helped make Psychedelic Sunday III a huge success!

Following our community Easter Egg Hunt, Adam Strauss kicked off the event with some comedy based on his own experiences using psilocybin mushrooms to cure his OCD.

Following that, we were introduced to Paula Graciela Kahn , a movement strategist who was able to discuss plant medicine from a public health and social justice lens. In addition, Dr. Lynn Marie Morski .morski offered her own clinical perspective, as the president of the Psychedelic Medicine Association.

Our event participants were able to join in on this conversation by joining an empty chair on the stage to ask questions and share their own stories or goals for breaking down barriers to psychedelic medicine.

The Psychedelic Sundays Community 🍄💐

As we concluded this season of Psychedelic Sundays, our founder, Mike Margolies left us with a message:

"Community really is fundamental...

While I'm personally putting a pause on this series, I also want to make sure the community here (in San Diego) is still served. And so what I also want to offer now, is an invitation to the people in the room:

I would like to empower all of you to continue holding events. If you're feeling inspired, if you want to see more gatherings, I want to help you do it... Help build and grow San Diego Psychedelic Community locally!"

And oh what a community to have catalyzed.
