Last nights pitching lessons were awesome!! Shout out to the Jax Beach 10U champions!!!

Quick reminders to parents and pitchers from my lessons last night:

Push off foot = heel over toe then pop open (twist) so that your pitcher is only dragging their big toe
***loss of speed and accuracy happen with an anchored back foot due to twisting first (squish the bugfrom batting) and dragging the whole side of the foot***

Also, make sure your beginner pitchers are dragging “knee to knee” to allow a clear pathway for the pitching arm to stay on the power line ❤️😁

Lefty Curveball Grip: I love this grip. Makes it easy to finish high to the right shoulder to reinforce a little rise movement if your pitcher is nervous about hitting the righty batters 🥎❤️

Solid grip for riseball or curveball. If your pitchers hand is too small for this advanced grip I have another grip that will feel just right 😎🥎

Awesome ex*****on. I remember coaching and executing this play. It was always amazing when the defense got the runner at home. These girls got both runners. Go team!! Don’t run on me!!!

Happy Wednesday!! 🐪 We hope everyone is having a great first week back at school!! Just a couple more and the 2023 fall season officially begins!! 🙌 We are SO excited to get back on the field!! -- Player evaluations will be at Wingate on Monday & Tuesday. (8/21 & 22 - SEE SCHEDULE BELOW) Coaches will draft their teams on Friday (8/25) and you should recieve your team info & practice schedule by Monday, 9/4!!

▪No evaluations for 6U & 18U
▪All evaluations will be on field 3
▪8U - Tuesday, 5:45-7:15 - Please arrive by 5:30 to sign in & warm up!!
▪10U - Monday, 5:45-7:15 - Please arrive by 5:30 to sign in & warm up!!
▪12U - Monday, 7:15-8:30 - please arrive by 7 to sign in & warm up!!
▪All players can leave after they hit.

⚠️⚠️ As of right now..6U, 8U, 10U and 18U are all on a waitlist. A spot on a team will only open if a registered player chooses not to participate. Please inform us immediately if you have changed your mind about playing so we can make the necessary changes.
