The Friends of the Chula Vista Library is the official venue sponsor and a small percentage of exhibitor sales during FACC 2025 will go toward their literacy efforts.

Today, we want to wish a Happy Birthday to the world's greatest living cartoonist. Sergio Aragones hits the young age of 88 today. For over 60 years his cartoons have been delighting fan in the pages of Mad Magazine, Groo, Fanboy, the Mighty Magnor and countless other stories.

It was a pleasure to have Sergio Aragones as the Guest of Honor at the 2019 San Diego Comic Fest. He could not have been nicer to the fans as we celebrated his legendary career.

From all of us at San Diego Comic Fest, Happy Birthday to Sergio Aragones.

We just want to take a moment to thank everyone who came out to Hop Fest over the weekend. We all had so much fun. We couldn't have done it without the dedicated community of San Diego. To all the artists, writers, vendors and creators who took part in our event, it wouldn't have been possible without you.

Tomorrow is the big day! Hop Fest returns to Hopnonymous Brewing Company with the San Diego Comic Fest crew. There will be over 40 vendors, writers, artists, gaming, company and all the fun of Comic Fest in our fun one day event.

We look forward to seeing you there and we are in for a great time!

This Saturday August 30th, SD COMIC FEST is having a fund raiser at Hopnonymous Brewing for their next local convention!
San Diego Comic Fest is a great San Diego county based convention that while *significantly* smaller than Comic Con, is always entertaining, filled with great artists, vendors, panels throughout the weekend and some pretty awesome special guests. So we'd love to see them back sooner than later!
This fundraiser is a family friendly event filled with local artists, retailers, drinks, food, Cosplay and more! And all free! Head down, say hi, and support the cause!
