The team has made huge strides since it was first established in 2009. Starting as a club with innovative students and few resources, the team has grown to be highly acclaimed on the local and national level. In 2010 Mustang Robotics won first and fourth place in the local Sumo Bots tournament. From 2010 to 2011 our list of accomplishments grew when we won the local tournament twice and were honored with the Design, Judges and Excellence Awards. Last year our program engaged in an even higher caliber of success when three of our competed in the VEX world championships which pitted hundreds of exceptional teams from all over the world against each other for a truly unique, mentally and emotionally stimulating event. Now a new year has begun and our victories from previous endeavors drives us win our achieve our goal of winning our first international tournament at the VEX World Championship in April. Your generous contribution will enable us to achieve our goals, and many more. We truly appreciate your consideration to help our team, and your donation will go a long way by instilling the values of hard work, determination, and professionalism in students who are creating the future through their involvement in the STEM field.
