Dear Class of 90, we lost another alumni this week.

Sadly, Michael Brooks (Brooksie) passed away. We just heard from his sister. For those that knew him, you know how much fun he was to spend time with. He loved his friends, family & daughter. He didn't make this year's reunion due to a last minute decision to spend that weekend celebrating his father's birthday, but donated his reunion ticket to those less fortunate.

Mike, you will be missed but not forgotten by your fellow alumni. We will be sure to raise a glass in your honor at the next MBHS gathering and we look forward to seeing you back in the hallways of that great high school up in the sky.

Dear Class of 90 alumni. (some 89's, 91's, 92's, and 93's. (one 94)). Thanks to all of you that could make it to last night's main event. OMG was it great to see each and every one of you. You all were the special ingredient to a magical night.

Big shout out to Doug and Dawn Knight for allowing us all into their home on Friday night for the potluck/ice breaker. You guys are one in a million.

And a HUGE shoutout to Melissa Williams Miller (Missy) for her hard work in co-organizing this. You made this fun.

Dear Alumni, We’ve had four last min cancellations if anyone would like to attend tonight. Message me.

Sadly, we have sold out of tickets for the Saturday Soiree. Means you may just have to come to the venue and find a way to sneak over the VIP rope.

Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible for this weekend's celebations - celebrations - celebrity sightings.

Heads up for the weekend. Northbound interstate 5 between interstate 8 and Mission Bay Drive will be closed from Friday at 9pm through Monday at 5am. Please plan accordingly depending on where you are coming from. Other people in SD will also be taking alternate routes. Sucky, but it is what it is.

Last and final boarding call for the Class of 90 high school reunion soiree. It's coming up in a handful of days. First we have our Friday Night Kick off at Doug Knights House at 7pm. Bring your own drinks and potluck food. Should be a great time and ice breaker. Message me for address.

Saturday night is the main event. Mavericks in PB. 6pm-10pm. Ticket sales close tonight. Links for that are on previous posts.

Don't regret having missed this. We all would love to see you. Whether you are in class of 88, 89, 90, 91, 92 or 93. What a great excuse to have a wonderful weekend.

Dear MBHS Class of 90 and beyond. Less then 4 weeks until our reunion. If you have tickets, most excellent. If not, please don't wait on the sidelines. It's going to be a great event. We will toast the handful that are no longer with us and we will laugh and talk and catch up and enjoy each other from bygone years to today and hopefully talk about tomorrow and to infinity and beyond.

Please come to the reunion. I cannot stress enough to grasp these moments in life and embrace them. I promise you will be happy that you did.

And just for the record we have 85 spots sold out of 100 tickets available. It's the biggest turn out since our 20th reunion.

There are some from the classes of 88, 89, 91 and 92 with the bulk being from 1990. It really will be a great catch up experience and when the night ends...poof it will be another 5 years before some of us see each other again.

Dear Class of 90, this past week, we lost one of our classmates, Curtis Myron. He was a great guy and will be missed by his family and friends.

As when anyone passes, there is a vacuum of information as to what happened and why. We believe he had some underlying health issues that were the cause and that he passed quietly at his residence in San Diego.

There is no information as of yet for a memorial service.

For those that can make the reunion this year, we will raise a glass in his memory.

Curtis- you will be missed but not forgotten and I look forward to seeing you in the next great adventure.

Yo MBHS class of 90. Our reunion is coming up September 27th. We've sold 75 tickets thus far. It's going to be a great time. As in previous reunions, the more the merrier. Quick Survey which you can private message me a response to.

1. For the Saturday night soiree, would you be up for a venue that serves food and drink?
2. If yes, would the idea of $60-$80pp be considered too much that you would not attend?
3. If we did a Sunday Private Bus event to Temecula for wine tasting/lunch, would you be interested in attending? (Unknown on pricing as of now.)
