It’s funny how the things I tell myself shouldn’t be so hard are the very things that feel the heaviest. When I stop measuring myself by outdated standards and start updating my inner gauges, I find alignment between what I expect and what’s real. The smallest things feel big because they’re asking me to grow bigger.

Me: That's dumb as hell. Wtf that even mean? Do you even know whatchu mean when you say that???

Me over the past couple of years of deep healing and "shadow work":

Oh. I get it.

Yeah, I can see the fear cuz bayBEE! Issa lotta fiyuh in here, hunnee. Yeah, she dangerous 😅. Ion know WHAT all I'm capable of. But I do. And it ain't nuthin nice. 😬

Me now:

Oh, I'm not simply been afraid of my darkness.

When I discovered how deep and vast it is, much of me actually got excited cuz I was ready to level some s**t 🤣.

But naw.

I've feared true Power: when light and dark come together.

I've always known I'm profoundly loving. I had no idea I could FEEL so much love. AND THEN let it pour outta me too? Just givin it out all W***y Nilly?! That's Powerful!...that's Power.

The Knowing that I am connected to every bit of the universe, including every person in it, is powerful.

AND ALSO, Knowing that I came here to live My life as Me and be wholly and unwaiveringly committed to THAT?!

That's unf**kwitable. 😌

I can Be

cutting and nurturing

firm and soft

filled with grace and speak with conviction

A tourist attraction as a simmering volcano

The still watery home of creations largest, most ferocious, and most frightening creatures

The attractive, alluring heights that capture your gaze and steal your breath, making real the risk of your delusion.

That's Power
That's Love
That's Soundness of Mind.

I have the capacity for World destruction
And instead of wrecklessly enacting it
I allow it to shape me

And, in turn, shape the world

My world.
