NEVER FORGET MEANS NEVER STOP TEACHING. 🗽 🇺🇸

It is astonishing that some local activists are trying to direct an attack on patriotism and truth simply because a teacher shared a factual, foundational overview of September 11th in class.

Teaching students about the history of 9/11 should never be controversial. The tragic loss of innocent lives, the bravery of the first responders, and the sacrifice of the heroes of Flight 93, should never be forgotten. PUSD students must be educated on US History and why America stands as a beacon of freedom.

PUSD Community Watch proudly stands with teachers who refuse to let the lessons of September 11, 2001, be forgotten or censored.

📣 Following a request for public records regarding the August 19 Del Sur Elementary School Family Information Session, Poway Unified School District has agreed to honor an appeal of the District’s prior denial response under the California Public Records Act and has provided a 49-minute recording of the session.

When critical matters affect our school facilities, student relocations, and health standards, complete transparency ensures that all taxpayers and families have equal access to public information.

The District’s full-length recording of the DSES Family Information Session is available to the public here: https://www.pusdcommunitywatch.org/podcast

🚨PUSD Community Watch has officially served the Poway Unified Board of Education a Demand to Cure and Correct.⚖️

After three trustees attended the Del Sur Elementary Family Information Session & leadership promised a recording, PUSD selectively cut the video down to 13 minutes, 48 seconds—censoring parent Q&A & trustee remarks.

When a parent is denied under CPRA, we draw the line. Taxpayers deserve the full, unedited recording of public events—especially during a facility crisis affecting Del Sur Elementary until January 2027, not to mention Black Mountain Middle School.

PUSD has 30 days from receipt of the demand to release the full video and cure the violation.
