What happens when sunlight meets a CD?

A little bit of curiosity, a little bit of experimentation… and suddenly, rainbows appear!

Our children discovered how the sun’s rays dance across the surface of CDs, creating beautiful bands of color. They moved, tilted, and explored, watching the light change with every movement.

In our Reggio-inspired environment, we believe children are natural researchers. We give them the materials, the space, and the freedom to wonder:

“What do you notice?”
“What happens if you move it?”
“Where did the rainbow go?”

Sometimes the simplest materials invite the biggest discoveries.

Following the Lines of Wonder

At the light table, a simple dragonfly became an invitation to slow down, observe, and discover.

As little fingers carefully followed each line and curve, our learner explored the delicate details of a dragonfly its wings, body, and symmetry while building fine-motor control and hand-eye coordination.

But beyond the tracing, there was something even more meaningful happening: the child was studying the world.

What happens when we look closely?
What patterns do we notice?
How can light help us see something in a new way?

In our Reggio inspired environment, we believe children are capable researchers, artists, and thinkers. Sometimes, all they need is a little light to make their wonder visible.

" It’s all just wood ”

What was once a collection of wooden loose parts left behind from a previous habitat environment table became the starting point for something entirely new.
Pieces were moved, balanced, connected, rearranged, and transformed as the children explored what they could make.

A reminder that sometimes the most meaningful materials are the simplest ones inviting children to wonder, imagine, create, and see possibilities where others might simply see scraps of wood.

Connecting Through Quiet Moments & Magical Stories.

There’s something truly magical about slowing down, finding a cozy little corner, and getting lost in a good book.

Under our beautiful archway of flowers, two little BunnyBears found the perfect place to pause, explore, and enjoy their own special stories together.

They may be reading different books, but they’re sharing something just as meaningful: a quiet moment of connection, imagination, and wonder.

At BunnyBears, we believe some of the most beautiful learning happens in these simple moments when children feel comfortable, curious, and free to follow their own interests.

From Seed to Table

At BunnyBears, our garden is more than a place to grow vegetables—it’s a place to grow wonder, responsibility, confidence, and connection.

Our children planted tiny tomato seeds, cared for their plants, watched them grow, patiently waited for those little green tomatoes to turn red, and finally… picked them!

And then came the best part: eating what they grew themselves. ❤️

There is something magical about watching a child realize, “I grew this!”

Through this simple experience, children discover where food comes from, learn patience and responsibility, practice caring for something beyond themselves, and experience the joy of seeing their efforts turn into something they can share and enjoy.

From planting… to nurturing… to harvesting… to tasting every step is a lesson, and every tomato tells a story.

This is the Power of Wonder in action. ✨

At BunnyBears, we’re more than just a preschool… we’re a community where children, teachers, and families come together to enrich each child’s life.

We love welcoming parents into our classrooms to be part of the learning experience.
