Sigma Week 2021 is almost here! The ladies of Delta Gamma invite you to our week filled with fun events from March 1st - March 5th! 💙💛Stay tuned to for more details on our events for the week! 🐩✨

Meet Jakobe Nickname “Kobe”, he is an 8 year old boy from Florida who is diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia currently searching for a matched blood stem cell donor. Kobe loves baseball and played little league before he received his diagnose.

Like all African American patients searching on the Be The Match registry, Kobe only has a 23% chance of finding a match because there are not enough African American people signed up to be possible donors!

If you are between 18-44 yrs old, you have the power to save a life!

Steps to join:
1. Click on join the registry and click mail a swab kit to my home
2. Fill out the online registration form
3. The swab kit should arrive in 1 to 2 weeks
4. When the kit arrives, swab the inside of your cheeks and mail it back
5. You have now officially joined the registry!

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. was founded on the principles of sisterhood, scholarship, and service. Each academic year we host programs and attend service events that help the community of East County San Diego. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances presented by COVID-19 we are unable to be as active in our community. That is why this year we are introducing our first ever scholarship opportunity. Our goal is to help African American young women in our community afford college applications, so we are opening an essay competition. Help us reach our goal and donate today! 💙💛
