Coaching = accountability. Do you agree or disagree?
In coaching, it can be easy to skip over faith and spirituality because they feel taboo. The reality is, we all believe something, and it shapes how we make meaning in our lives.
Last weekend, I spent some time away on a faith-based retreat, and it reminded me how powerful it can be to bring spirituality into the conversation. When I work with clients, the questions they ask out loud are often just scratching the surface of what they really want to know.
When I hear:
- ��”What do I want to do with my life?”
- ��”How do I know I’m on track?”
- ��”Why am I not feeling fulfilled?”
Clients are often really asking:
→ Why am I here?
→ Does my life have meaning?
→ Was I created uniquely and on purpose, or is it all random?
These are the questions that underpin much of the work we do in coaching, but they can be hard to navigate and harder to find clarity on.

Last night, I ticked a dream off my bucket list: witnessing the aurora borealis. 🌌 Through my eyes, I saw a slightly pink tint in the sky, but my camera revealed a more breathtaking view.
This experience highlights how changing our “lens” can transform our view, revealing hidden and new and opportunities.
