Wedding MBA is HERE!! Are you already here in Vegas or will you be coming here soon? This is always one of my favorite weeks of the year, between seeing friends and colleagues from around the world (a week filled with hugs!!), getting to talk to so many wedding pros about working with them as a business coach, and gaining new knowledge and skills for my own businesses, too.

**By the way, this year you can totally re-charge in my booth - re-charge your devices as we chat and re-charge your business - yes, I will have a charging station in my booth**

So, here’s my schedule and where you can find me:

Tuesday: 2-6 PM: Officiant Track in the Evergreen Room, watching four great speakers - Mark Allen Groleau, Laura Cannon, Donna Forsythe, and Rev. Roxy Birchfield
6:00 PM: the Officiant IAPWO gathering in the lobby of the Renaissance Hotel next door to the convention center

Wednesday: 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM: Booth #1146 in the Exhibit Hall (first aisle toward to back) - again, come re-charge your devices and your business!
2:00 PM: Speaking on “Epic Business Fails: MBA Level Operations Advice” in the Ponderosa Room
3-5 PM: Back to my Booth #1146 in the Exhibit Hall

Thursday: 9 AM - 2:30 PM: Booth #1146 in the Exhibit Hall (this day is always the best for great conversations as it’s less chaotic in the exhibit hall)
3-5 PM: Speaking on Sales with “Officially Yours: Surefire Sales Techniques” in the Officiant Track in the Evergreen Room

I’ll also be inviting some of my Educator friends to come hang out in my booths for short periods of time, so be sure to follow me on Instagram or as I’ll be sure to share in my Stories when someone is headed to my booth so that you can stop by with your questions for them, too!

TIME TO CHAT! Let’s talk about RELATIONSHIPS - one of the most important factors in both building and maintaining a successful wedding industry business and one you enjoy, too. We will dive into the many types of relationships and the benefits of each, plus some action steps that you can take right away.

This month, we are meeting at our usual days and times of the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET. Plus, as always, if you cannot make it live, the recordings always live on in the “Videos” tab on my page to watch at your convenience. And you can feel free to comment or DM me with any questions that you want to be sure that we cover.

Each chat, I try to give you at least one actionable idea that you can run with, as well as talk about anything you bring up or ask about - and it’s lots of fun for me to do both. And I usually frame things in three areas: business, couples, and relationships.

I look forward to hearing what you are thinking about now & what you are working on now! As always, if there are things that you would like me to discuss, let me know, and I’m happy to include it! And then join me live or watch the video later on, as it’s always available on my Elevate by Bethel page.

So, join me to hear some real talk from recent couples and how we can use that to have a better and/or stronger business!

Whether you’ve joined me for these chats many times before or you’re joining in for the first time, I promise that there will be information that you can run with. And you’re always welcome!

Hello, wedding industry colleagues and friends!

Today – March 1st – is the last day to vote for the final round in California Wedding Day’s Best of 2024, and I am honored to be one of the three finalists in the Officiant Category in San Diego County. Plus, since this final round only allows for votes coming from those who are in the industry, and I’ve been hearing that there are lots of people who hadn’t yet even heard about this, I wanted to get the word out a little bit more.

So, if you have just a moment, I would love and greatly appreciate your vote and support!

The link here - https://californiaweddingday.com/CWD-Best-of-2024-Round-2 - leads you to the landing page, as you can take the time – if you so choose – to vote for your favorites in multiple of the different locations. I’m only on the San Diego ballot, but there are lots of fantastic folks on other counties’/regions’ ballots, as well.

Here’s to an even better year of weddings ahead for us all!

TIME TO CHAT! There are two parts to this week’s Facebook Live - first, we’ll continue the discussion on GETTING MORE BOOKINGS, focusing this time on the Getting Inquiries stage, If you have any questions or “A Ha!” moments from last time when looking at your business, I definitely want to hear it! And then second, we’ll have guest Margaux joining us for the last half to talk SALES. I’ll be speaking at her upcoming Sales Summit and can’t wait to fill you all in on that.

Since now is the time for more inquiries - we hope, right? - and since I know that some people are feeling like they are getting fewer of them, let’s talk about the ways to make the most of each inquiry, improving your booking ratio, and getting more great business *into* your business!

Remember that we’re meeting later than usual. Since the webinar this month is at the usual time we would normally meet - it’s on the important topic of SEO and I don’t want you to miss out on more learning from the rock star , we’ll meet at 1:30 PM PT / 4:30 PM ET instead.
