English Literature Online Classes

Lighthouse is an online crash course in English Literature, offering a unique series of discussions on a wide range of literary ideas and movements. Our initiative is designed to enrich and encourage young literary minds, with a special focus on students in undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Lighthouse is co-founded by Debanjan Chakraborty (M.A., M.Phil. Scholar, University of Burdwan) and Anuska Bag (M.A., UGC-NET, University of Burdwan), who are passionate about guiding students through their journey in English literature.

Courses for Literary Enthusiasts: Lighthouse offers monthly courses starting on the 15th, each comprising 6–8 sessions (schedules may vary based on course requirements).
Interactive Learning: Each course includes debates, open discussions, and quizzes to create a highly engaging and interactive experience.

Supportive Learning Environment: Participants benefit from flexible schedules, personalized doubt-clearing sessions, e-notes, and e-certificates upon completion.

It is the audacity of language that mars our life with its unfathomable desire.
Language becomes a means of violence only when it functions through its stooges, the human subjects. It is the internalization of this symbolic order that inflicts a symbolic wound in the subject and the cure, quite ironically, is found in language itself that has curved the wound in the very first place.
