For those who haven't seen this, a couple of years ago, I had the incredible privilege of creating a one-of-a-kind desk for Kimberly Johnson as an anniversary gift. It was an epic labor of love, with no plans other than what I envisioned in my mind. It is a stunning masterpiece crafted from solid cherry and figured walnut. The drawers are solid cherry with box joints, and the small drawer faces are five pieces, while the large drawer face and door are six pieces each. The desk is internally wired with a GFCI outlet, so you only need one plug going to the wall. It is built to break down into separate cabinets and a top for moving if needed. It is fully finished with brushed brass hardware and soft-close slides and hinges. I didn't keep track of the total hours, but it turned out as perfect as I imagined. For reference, this desk is 66 inches (5.5 feet) wide. Enjoy!
