Yesterday, our 8th-grade math class celebrated St. Patrick's Day with a tasty twist! 🍀 We combined reviewing fraction operations with a lesson in hospitality. Students used their math skills to create and serve delicious shamrock shakes to their classmates and staff. Hands-on learning at its best!

Our students had an amazing visit to San Diego State University! They explored the beautiful campus, discovered various degree paths, and got a glimpse of college life. 🎓

🌟 Student Spotlight 🌟 Meet Izabella, a senior at Altus Schools who excels in honors, AP, and college courses, and has a passion for photography—one of her photos was featured in the Museum of Contemporary Art during our 2023 MCASD showcase! Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, skating, and traveling. She has completed her college applications and has started to receive acceptance letters! She plans to transfer to San Diego State University, where she will major in Business and Finance. Way to go, Izabella!
