Zane Porter - Marshall
This kid is very intriguing! Played high level soccer his whole youth, but loved football, so went to Marshall, and played some nickel, safety, rover, and linebacker (sam and mike). He also thrived on special teams, both punt and kick return where he was gunner on kickoff, led the ST in tackles, and had 2 fumble recoveries just last season.
Oddly, he’s VERY interesting on special teams, as he kicked his whole life except college, and picked it up again right before his pro day where he kicked and punted for multiple NFL teams.
Feedback from teams was he just needs more reps.
He’s athletic, big, strong, and physical.
