San Soo Cane

The first training lesson for seniors has been released and is available on our website at sansoocane.com. The lesson is called "Gaining The Mental Edge," which teaches how to use the most lethal weapon you own - your mind!

Some topics covered are:
Situational avoidance
Blending-in
Profiling for suspicious activity
Assessing danger zones
Handling money
Positioning in public places
Danger assessment - when to act!

The lesson includes a number of drills that you can use to hone your observation techniques every time you go out shopping.

We have just finished filming Lesson 1 “Gaining the Mental Edge” along with a supporting downloadable and printable white paper - San Soo Cane SENIOR MOVES. The white paper gives an overview of how we arrived at creating San Soo Cane, details on the training program, cane defense moves and practical observation drills to help seniors spot, prevent and avoid dangerous situations.

This material is actually useful for people of any age even though we focus on seniors. There are 54 million seniors in the US who really to have and use this knowledge as our environment becomes more and more dangerous.

I know - I’m a senior!

We are hearing more and more episodes of crimes against seniors. We need to empower them with basic self defense tools and training. There’s a lot of people (mostly politicians) trying raise money right now so the competition for causes like ours is high, but in the meantime there’s more than 50 million seniors potentially at risk in this country.
