No, I’m not neglecting my son by keeping him home all these years. I’m protecting him. I’m keeping him safe. I’m keeping him alive.
You don’t know our story & you don’t know what we’ve both endured. We went through more trauma than anyone should ever have to experience. No matter how hard I fought, advocated, trusted or believed I was doing what was best for him, he was still being neglected, mistreated & abused. There were multiple times when his life was literally on the line. At that point, I had no choice but to remove my son from school.
And with the regression & very challenging behaviors, continuing down that road simply wasn’t worth the risk. We have been doing just fine, thank you very much.
So please, don’t speak on what you don’t know.
Every decision I’ve made for my son has come with a sacrifice. Some decisions broke me in ways I still carry every single day. Do you honestly think I don’t want a different, better or fuller life for my son? Of course I do. But sometimes “better” looks very different for us than it does for everyone else.
I would rather have him safe beside me than risk him being mistreated or abused by strangers ever again. If protecting my child means sacrificing what society thinks his life should look like, then that is a sacrifice I will make every single time.
I will never regret choosing my son’s safety over anyone else’s expectations. I know what we survived. I know what I fought through. And I know why I made the choices I did.
You don’t have to understand my decisions but understand this my parenting decisions is always made out of protection, not neglect! So stop asking me if my son goes to school. He attends Sensor E Academy located at H💙ME with the best teacher his momma🥰😝
