Library Extended Hours for Finals
To support students during finals, the SBVC Library will offer extended hours for two weeks with two additional hours added each day, plus new Saturday hours.
Week 1 (May 4–9)
Mon–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (new)
Week 2 (May 11–14)
Mon–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Take advantage of the library’s quiet study spaces, computers, textbooks, and research resources as you prepare for finals.

🎤 Lamore: Open Mic Poetry & Art Showcase 🎶
Join us on Thursday, April 16 | 12:00–2:00 p.m. for The Lamore, a special open mic event celebrating poetry, fiction, and music in honor of the late Professor Joel Lamore.
A cherished member of our campus community, Prof. Lamore created a space where creativity thrived. This event continues his legacy—bringing together students, faculty, and staff to share their voices, stories, and talents in a welcoming and inspiring environment.

Please consider donating to the **SCTA/MEChA Book Drive** for the CDC. We are collecting new or gently used books for children ages 2–5 (topics such as numbers, letters, shapes, colors, and good behavior).
