Eta Phi Beta (ΗΦΒ) is an African american business sorority founded in October 1942 by 11 business majors. Eta Phi Beta was founded in Detroit, Michigan at the historically black Lewis Business College. In 1997, the organization had 91 chapters and over 5000 members internationally.

History of Eta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.
Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc, is a non-profit business and professional women's organization. It is composed of professional women from education, business, industry, technology, social work, communication, health and public service and other professions. The purpose is to promote and develop closer fellowship between business and professional women and to work for their welfare, to obtain for women the opportunity for the highest standards in all business fields. Our Motto is: "Not for Ourselves, But for Others". The Vision is to promote higher scholastic standards, personal growth, career awareness, and to provide opportunities for community service.
