San Benito School is prepared and ready to welcome our students and parents back to our campuses on Monday, August 10th.

As a school district, we recognize that parental engagement is an essential part of the success of our students.

On the first day of the school year, parents may es**rt their children to their respective classroom(s).

A new teacher, new classmates, or a new school for some students may be require guidance from their parents.

Once the instructional day begins, our campus staff will be ready to proceed with the day with our students.

Thank you parents, grandparents, and families for having our students ready and focused for a great new school year.

Our partnership with parents and families is very important to us.

Always remember at San Benito Schools to YOU BELONG HERE!

To my Amazing Parent Volunteers,

Today, I say goodbye after two incredible years as your Director of Family and Community Engagement. Thank you for being my motivation during this wonderful experience.

Thank you for your support, your encouragement, and for believing in the work we did together. It has been such a privilege to serve alongside you and to help build a community rooted in connection, kindness, and care for our students and families.

I will always be grateful for the friendships formed, the memories made, and the many ways you've inspired me. I leave with a full heart, knowing this community will continue to thrive because of each of you.

Thank you for making these two years so meaningful. I will truly miss you all.

We are incredibly grateful to United Way NCC for their generous donation of 20 beds, mattresses, and bedding sets through the Build-a-Bed Program. πŸ›οΈ

This thoughtful contribution will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our SBCISD students by helping ensure they have a safe, comfortable place to sleep and rest each night. Access to a good night's sleep supports student health, well-being, and academic success. πŸŽ“

At Riverside Middle School, community care was on full display this morning as 40 families received ingredients to prepare spaghetti with meat sauce, along with a recipe to enjoy together at home. 🍝❀️

This campus food pantry is a new initiative designed to support our families and ensure students have access to resources that help them thrive both in and out of the classroom. We are grateful for the continued partnership and support of Communities In Schools of Cameron County and Methodist Healthcare Ministries for helping make this distribution possible. Partnerships like these strengthen families and nourish our community one meal at a time. πŸ’œπŸ’›
