Mission

TYME to emPower serves as an emotional and motivational support team for teenage parents and their families. By motivating and educating the teen parents to be the best parents and students they can be, we are building a strong foundation for the lives of the young parents and their generations that follow. In addition TYME provides assistance to teenage parents with their babies basic

needs. If further resources are needed (that we may not have) we will provide contact information of other organizations that might be able to help. car seats, strollers and much more thanks to generous donation from the community...

TYME has been the proud recipient of the Make a Difference Award (awarded by Roy MAAS and Ruths Chris Steak House). Monica Velasquez McIlwain was awarded the Pillar of Respect 2012-13 award (NISD's highest award).

💛 Celebrating 20 YEARS of blessing families, empowering young mothers, and serving our San Antonio community! 💛

This year, we’re starting our Season of Giving prep EARLY — because our 20th anniversary deserves to be BIG, BEAUTIFUL, and EXTRA SPECIAL! 🙌🔥

We are inviting YOU, your family, your workplace, your church group, and your friends to join us in making this year unforgettable. 💫

🛒🥫 Items we’re collecting:
• Canned goods
• Boxed mashed potatoes
• Gravy packets
• Gently used baby clothes
• Baby essentials
• And more — every little bit helps!

This is an amazing team‑building activity, a church outreach project, or a family kindness challenge. 💒👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

TYME to Empower is entering a new season of restructuring, growth, and renewed purpose. Our mission remains the same — to uplift, support, and empower individuals and families through faith‑centered encouragement and practical resources.

As part of this restructuring, we are looking for 2–3 dedicated board members who believe in TYME’s mission and want to help us move forward. Most meetings will be virtual, making it easy for members in different cities or states to participate.

I will be reaching out personally to a few individuals who I feel would be a perfect fit for TYME’s board. If you receive a message from me and it’s not the right time, please feel free to say “no thank you.” Of course, I’m hoping for some joyful yes’s.
