Nelipots in Nature

What a fun way to wrap up our year with Nelipots! Today we enjoyed a splash pad day together for our last official meet-up of the season. Watching the kids laugh, play, and make memories was the perfect way to celebrate all the growth, friendships, and experiences we’ve shared this year. We’re so grateful for this community and all the families who made this year so special.

And while our weekly classes are over, the fun isn’t over! We’re planning summer outings and special 4-week programs with Phil Hardberger, the SA Food Bank, and more.

The curiosity was high and the excitement was contagious as we jumped into a day full of discovery and adventure! 🐾✨

We kicked things off by learning all about mammals, exploring what makes them unique and listening closely to different animal sounds—it was so fun guessing who made each one! 🐻🎧

Next, we headed out on a hike where we became little explorers, measuring animal tracks and imagining which creatures had passed through before us. 🌿👣

The fun continued as we got creative and crafted our very own sloths—each one full of personality and so adorable! 🦥🎨

From learning to exploring and creating, it was the perfect day filled with curiosity, nature, and hands-on fun. What a great day of adventure! 🤗✨

The energy was high and the excitement was contagious as we stepped into a day full of celebration and fun! 🎊✨

We kicked things off with our very own fiesta parade, proudly showing off our hand-crafted floats and all the creativity that went into them. 🎉

We spent time learning about the beautiful traditions of Fiesta and why it’s such a special celebration in our community. The fun continued as we celebrated a birthday with tie-dye crafts, giant bubbles, pizza, and cupcakes—so many smiles all around! 🎂✨

From laughter to learning and everything in between, it was the perfect Friday filled with joy, culture, and unforgettable memories. What a fun day—Viva Fiesta!! 🤗🎊

☀️ Today was full of sunshine and splashing as our little adventurers swam in the river, explored the beautiful outdoors, and visited the Nature Discovery Center at Guadalupe River State Park. From cooling off in the water to discovering the wonders of nature all around us, it was the perfect day for learning, laughter, and adventure. What a wonderful day spent making memories! 🤗

Spring magic was in full swing today 🌸✨

We kicked things off with picture day, soaking up the sunshine and capturing the sweetest spring moments—thank you, Jessica Suarez for making it so fun and for the gorgeous photos 💛

Then came all the fun… hands-on spring crafts, the coziest story time, and an Easter egg hunt that had everyone smiling, laughing, and running around with excitement 🐣🌷

One of those days that just felt extra special from start to finish 💕

🎉 I’m excited to announce that Nelipots in Nature will be participating in the VENT Expo this Friday 4/10 from 10am-6pm at the Schertz Civic Center!

🍄 We will be teaching an interactive mushroom workshop in Hall C at 11am & there will be other fun hands-on workshops to attend, as well as so many homeschool resources to connect with!

📍 We will also have some activities at our booth ( #7)! We hope to see you there!

We had a WILD time on our field trip to Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo! 🐾🦎✨

Our adventurers got up close and personal with some amazing animals—including a (surprisingly cute!) skunk named Trixie and a tiny but mighty dwarf crocodile! 🦨🐊 We dug for hidden treasures during gem mining 💎 and made lots of new furry (and feathered!) friends… some a little too friendly when it came to snack time! 😂

From curious critters to hands-on fun, it was a day full of learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories. 💚

We had the sweetest time at our Easter egg hunt today—what a fun and joy-filled day it was! 🐣🌸 The kiddos had an absolute blast searching for eggs, sharing laughs, and soaking up all the excitement together.

A huge thank you to Brookdale Senior Living for hosting us and making it such a special experience! 💛

They’ve also invited us back for a Sock Hop on Friday, April 10 from 2–3 PM! 🎶✨ Kiddos are encouraged to dress in their best 1950s sock hop style—there will be snacks, refreshments, a fun craft, and a story time as well. It’s going to be such a fun afternoon! 💃🕺
