🐾🌿 Learning comes to life at Tejeda!

Our 7th grade science students had an incredible hands-on learning experience with Texas Parks & Wildlife Interpreter Ranger Amanda! Students in Mr. Arevalo and Coach Esparza’s classes explored how animals adapt and survive in the wild, asked questions, and got an up-close look at some South Texas wildlife.

What a great way to bring science beyond the classroom and give our T-Wolves an experience they’ll remember! 💙🐺

Today is National School Custodian Day, and we want to take a moment to honor the unsung heroes of our community—our custodial staff. From early mornings to late nights, their dedication creates an environment where every T-Wolf and Pack Leader can thrive.

We are grateful for this amazing crew. Thank you to: Jonathan Bermea, Carlos Castro, Jr., Jose Quintero, Francisca Sanchez, Zachary Sandoval, Abby Torres & Quincy Williams for their dedication, positivity and hard work behind the scenes. Please drop a heart or a comment of thanks for them! 💙

NEISD is closely monitoring weather forecasts and local conditions. 🚌🌧️

Due to the potential for flooding and possible unexpected road closures, our school bus drivers will exercise extra caution to ensure student safety. This may result in delays or adjusted routes. The safety and well-being of our community remain our highest priority.

We appreciate your patience and encourage everyone to use caution when traveling in affected areas. Please check the NEISD website at neisd.net and follow social media channels regularly for real-time announcements and updates.

Last week, our 6th grade ELAR students worked together to read fun informational articles while identifying author’s purpose, organizational text structure, and controlling idea. Students collaborated, discussed their thinking, and put their reading skills to work, and they had a blast doing it! 🧠📖💬

We love seeing our students learning, thinking, and growing together! 🐺💙
