If you’re posting your kids online, this is something to think about.

Covering their face with emojis or blurring it might feel like protection, but it doesn’t always remove identifying details.

Backgrounds, locations, clothing, routines, and even small features can still give away more than we realize.

Images can also be edited, cropped, or reused in ways we don’t control once they’re shared publicly.

This isn’t about fear. It’s about awareness.

Being intentional with what we share helps protect our children’s privacy now and in the future.

Every family will make their own choices, but it’s worth slowing down and thinking through what we’re putting out there.

What if one great book could cover language arts, math, science, history, life skills, and public speaking?

Little House in the Big Woods is more than a story. It opens the door to pioneer life, practical skills, nature study, history, family values, and hands-on learning that children actually remember.

Instead of jumping between multiple textbooks, try building meaningful learning experiences around a living book that sparks curiosity and connection.

Inside this guide, you’ll find ideas for:
• Language Arts
• Real-Life Math
• History & Geography
• Science & Nature Study
• Life Skills
• Public Speaking & Communication

Learning becomes more engaging when subjects connect to a story children love.

Colleges are not just closing in Massachusetts.
This is happening across the country.

Schools like Anna Maria College and Hampshire College are part of a growing list of small private colleges shutting their doors due to declining enrollment and financial strain.

And they are not alone.

Since 2020, dozens of colleges across the United States have closed or announced closures. Experts warn that even more are at risk in the coming years.

This is a shift.

Fewer students are choosing traditional college
Families are questioning the cost versus value
Alternative paths are growing faster than ever

Small private colleges are simply the first to feel it.

This is not about fear.
It is about understanding what is changing.

When education shifts, opportunities shift with it.

Tim Tebow’s new film Room 21 is based on the real stories of survivors of child exploitation and human trafficking.

One of the most powerful messages from the film is that many predators do not begin with force. They begin with attention, manipulation, trust, and grooming. Often, that process starts online.

As parents, we cannot afford to assume it won’t happen to our children. We need to know who they are talking to, what apps they are using, and what is happening in their digital world.

The goal is not fear. The goal is awareness.

A strong family connection, open communication, and active involvement remain some of the best protections we can give our children.

Connecticut has officially launched an investigation into Roblox over growing concerns surrounding child safety, online exploitation, and inappropriate interactions involving minors on the platform.

Millions of children use gaming platforms every day, and many parents are now asking bigger questions about moderation, online predators, screen time, and what kids may actually be exposed to while online.

As technology continues to evolve, families are being forced to navigate a digital world that looks very different from the one most parents grew up in.

Parents are starting to ask serious questions about what’s happening inside digital classrooms.

A lawsuit has been filed against Curriculum Associates, the company behind i-Ready, a program used by millions of students across the country.

The concern is not just about academics.

It’s about how much time children are spending on screens, what data is being collected, and how these programs may be shaping how kids learn and think.

We are watching a major shift in education:
More screens
Less hands-on learning
More algorithms
Less personal connection

And now, legal questions are being raised about student privacy and digital exposure.

Regardless of how this lawsuit turns out, one thing is clear:

Children today are spending more time learning from screens than ever before.

And many parents are starting to reconsider if that’s the best path.

Homeschooling gives families the ability to:
Choose less screen time
Focus on real-life skills
Adjust learning to the child
Protect privacy

You don’t have to follow the system to educate your child well.

Most people think homeschooling requires stacks of curriculum, expensive programs, and hours of planning.

Sometimes all you need is one great story.

Hatchet opens the door to lessons in survival, resilience, geography, science, writing, communication, critical thinking, and real-world math. As children follow Brian’s journey, they aren’t just reading a novel. They’re exploring how knowledge applies in real life.

Stories have a way of making learning stick because they connect ideas to experiences, emotions, and meaningful discussions.

New data out of Arkansas is getting a lot of attention.

According to state testing results tied to the Education Freedom Account program, homeschool students in the program outperformed private school students in multiple testing categories.

For years, many people claimed homeschoolers were academically behind.

But stories like this continue to challenge that narrative.

More families are choosing individualized learning, flexible schedules, real-world education, one-on-one support, and customized pacing instead of a one-size-fits-all approach.

Homeschooling continues to grow across the country, and many families are seeing strong academic results while also gaining more freedom and flexibility in their children’s education.

Charlie Kirk spoke at a graduation event and warned about growing pressure against homeschooling and parental rights in America. While homeschooling remains legal in all 50 states, many families are paying closer attention to legislation, regulations, and the broader conversation surrounding education and parental authority.

For many parents, homeschooling is about more than academics. It is about family, values, flexibility, safety, and giving children an education tailored to their individual needs.

No matter where you stand politically, one thing is clear: more families are rethinking education than ever before.

*APOLOGIES, APOLOGIES, APOLOGIES.
TRYING FOR A THIRD TIME TO GET THIS GUIDE TO YOU!*

One book can spark learning across every subject.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is more than a classic story. It can become the foundation for language arts, history, science, geography, critical thinking, character development, and so much more.

This is one of my favorite ways to homeschool because it connects learning together instead of separating it into disconnected subjects. Children remember more when they can see how everything fits together.

A great book can open the door to meaningful conversations, deeper learning, and a lifelong love of reading.
