COSA D1 Back to School Bash at Edison HS and the San Antonio Spurs Back to School Bash at the Frost Bank Center.

Your Office of Family Engagement, SAISD is at the BiblioTech EDU on Flores Street today until 2pm! Thank you to our gracious host Bexar BiblioTech for inviting us to share our resources with all families from San Antonio. We hope you swing by and visit. They have so many freebies for families! Free popcorn, free paletas. Free gaming truck. Free immunizations and more!

Parking is available across the street at the empty lots or in the Bexar County Parking Garage located at the SAISD Quincy building.

The Office of Family and Community Engagement wishes a very Happy National Intern Day to our wonderful intern, Dana Nguyen!

Dana comes to us from the University of Texas at Austin as a Statistics & Data Science major. She hopes to gain more insights into how data-driven projects can help improve the lives of families and make a positive impact at SAISD.

Help us wish Dana a very Happy National Internship Day and warm wishes for her bright future!

Dana realiza sus prácticas profesionales con nosotros y viene de la Universidad de Texas en Austin, donde cursa la licenciatura en Estadística y Ciencia de Datos. Su objetivo es adquirir una mayor comprensión sobre cómo los proyectos basados en datos pueden contribuir a mejorar la vida de las familias y generar un impacto positivo en el Distrito Escolar Independiente de San Antonio (SAISD).

¡Ayúdennos a felicitar a Dana en este Día Nacional del Pasante y a desearle un futuro brillante y lleno de éxitos!

Family Engagement, SAISD before and after the Back to School Resource Fair at Young Men's Leadership Academy, SAISD.

Thank you to our partners the San Antonio Women's Council of NAREB for their support in making this event a memorable one for all the families who visited us today. We served families from all over San Antonio and were excited to get them ready for the new school year! It is a partnership so blessed and nice that we got to do it twice!

A total of almost 900 people came to the back to school resource fair and carnival today!!!! Wow just wow!!! Our community resource vendors ran out of supplies.....but that is a great thing in resource world.

Although a more formal thanks post and events pictures will come soon, our department also could not have done it without the support of our personal families and representatives from the San Antonio ISD Quincy Cares team. We had our own husbands, children, nieces, nephews, and sisters helping us make this event happen for ALL FAMILIES.

We hope everyone who came through the doors felt welcomed, honored, and valued no matter what school district or charter district attended. We are San Antonio ISD and we thank you for taking your time to come to our event.
