Congratulations Paloma Quevedo on being this year's Texas State University Billy G. Moore Endowed Scholarship recipient!

Paloma has a young child at home and is expecting her second in a few months. She earned THREE scholarships so she can take the summer off with the baby and finish next May!

Congratulations to the 2021 Billy G. Moore Endowed Scholarship recipient, Niall Walsh!

Niall is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Texas State University. Prior to deciding to attend graduate school, Niall spent two years bartending and working in marketing. After ample consideration, he decided that he would like to pursue a master’s degree in Literature in order to immerse himself in a field that has played a significant role in shaping who he is.

We can't wait to see all that you will accomplish Niall!

Congratulations to this year's scholarship recipient - Luke Schmidt!

Luke was born in Kearney, Nebraska, where he lived until the age of 12. He, his mother and sister moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming where he completed high school at Cheyenne East High School in 2015. He then pursued and completed his undergraduate studies in English at the University of Wyoming in Laramie in 2019. Upon completing his Master's Degree at Texas State University, he hopes to become a Community College teacher.
