UTSA Debate Team

UTSA GC dropped in octafinals on a very close 3-2 decision! We could not be prouder of their accomplishment! We made it to the top 16 teams in the country at the people's tournament. 🤙

Ending day 3 CG byed past trips into doubles! Won doubles on a 2-1!!! Top 16 teams!!! Iliana got 11th speaker!!! We are so proud!!! Wish is luck in Octafinals in the morning!!! 🤙

Day 2 of CEDA complete! CG ended up 6-2 and will break into out rounds!!! GJ and PS ended up 3-5 on close debates and AP ended up 2-6! Wish CG luck tomorrow! # 🤙

Day one of CEDA!!!! All teams going into round one excited! Last night we recieved a lot of awards. Iliana recieved the All American award. For scholar awards Iliana and Panda won Sunma cm laude awards for having gpas over 3.75, Nic recieved the Magna Cum Laude award for GPA over 3.5, and Mary Jo recieved the Cum Laude award for GPA over 3.25! Our Director Jalisa Jackson also recieved the Outstanding New Director award! Wish us luck this CEDA!!!!!

The Roadrunners have safely made it to Binghamton, NY for CEDA!!! Wish us luck! 🤙

Apologies for the lack of updates, we been busy! CG competed at the 80th NDT tournament this weekend! First time UTSA had made it in over a decade! They ended up 3-5 with 10 ballots! We are super proud! 🤙

They made it!!!! UTSA CG advances to the NDT for the first time in 15 years!!! 🤙

Wrapping up Districts and the MAC! In Districts CG 4-4 and GP 0-8. In the MAC PS 3-3! Waiting for update on qualification!!! Wish us luck!!! 🤙
