As we begin a brand-new school year and our students settle into new classrooms, routines, friendships, and expectations, there’s so much happening in their little worlds each day! 📚✏️💕
We all know the routine… you ask, “How was school today?” and the answer is usually “good” or “fine.” 😂 Sometimes getting our kiddos to open up just takes asking the right questions!
Try switching things up with questions that encourage them to think, reflect, and share more about their day. These little conversations can help build communication skills, confidence, emotional awareness, and stronger connections at home. They can also give you a glimpse into what your child is learning, who they’re spending time with, and how they’re adjusting to the new school year.
