Learn. Corley Moore has this as the First L in the 9 L’s. Everything in life as a human, and ESPECIALLY as a fireman, begins with the willingness to learn. We do this by digging into the zone where we are uncomfortable, unfamiliar, and inefficient. We absolutely have to learn to consider ourselves even remotely close to the right path. How else will you be able to lead your crew? Take care of those you serve?
