There is so much great work happening at Burleson! Our students are building valuable workplace and independent-living skills through hands-on experiences both on campus and in the community.

From working with community partners like Peter Piper Pizza, Arlan’s Market, and La Quinta Inn to managing student-led businesses, restocking the café, taking inventory, creating T-shirt designs, organizing boutique clothing, and making beautiful flower arrangements, our students are learning, leading, and growing every day!

At Edgewood ISD, we want every student focused, connected and ready to learn.

That’s why personal devices must be powered OFF and stored OUT OF SIGHT during the school day.

And it’s more than a school rule. Texas law requires public schools to prohibit student use of personal communication devices during the school day.

One notification can become one distraction. One distraction can mean missing directions, an important lesson or a chance to connect with classmates.

Together, we can keep classrooms focused on what matters most: our students and their success.
