Due to ongoing heavy rains and flooding, all classes and research activities will move to a remote format tomorrow, July 16. Additionally, all summer camps are cancelled.

Essential personnel should report to campus as scheduled if it is safe to drive. All other employees should work remotely. Employees with questions or special situations should contact their supervisors for guidance.

If you must be on the road, please use extreme caution. Do not drive through flooded roadways or high water and follow guidance from local emergency officials.

We will continue to provide updates on campus operations on UT San Antonio Today (news.utsa.edu).

Canvas is currently unavailable university-wide. This appears to be a broader nationwide issue impacting institutions across the country. Users should not attempt to engage with or respond within the Canvas system until further notice. Our teams are actively monitoring the situation and working with the vendor toward resolution. Additional updates and communications will be shared as more information becomes available.
