Every summer Mrs. Nunez gives our staff something to take on their summer travels. This year it is a horse 🐴 because our theme next year is Roundin’ Up Bright Minds (western theme)! Check out Mrs. Montgomery and Mrs. Navarrete at a district Mental Health training with their 🐴!!! So cute!

In the spirit of “once a Ranger, always a Ranger,” Mrs. Gomez is moving and changing school districts! We know that she will do awesome and her new students will be SO lucky to have her!

✏️STAAR Results Release Dates:🗓️

NEISD students in grades 3-8 who took the STAAR assessments in Spring 2026 will have access to STAAR results on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

Parents may access STAAR 3-8 results through NEISD’s Skyward Family Access by clicking on the “Texas Assessments” tab. This tab will take parents directly to their student(s) results.

STAAR results will be available for reading language arts (RLA), mathematics, science (gr. 5 & 8), and social studies (gr. 8).

If parents cannot access results through Skyward’s “Texas Assessments” tab, please visit TexasAssessment.gov. Parents will need students’ first name, PEIMS number (Social Security Number or State ID), OR TSDS number and Date of Birth to access student scores.

Next year, Ms. Woitena is moving on to a new adventure! We wish her so much luck and happiness and hope she remembers “Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger!”

We had a great time last week celebrating the retirement of another one of our “legends,” Mrs. Bouchard! After 28 years of teaching and 24 years at Wetmore, this year marked her last year in education!
Thank you Mrs. Bouchard for all that you have poured into our Rangers and the lives you have touched. We are all better because of the role you played at Wetmore!
And remember, “Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger!!!!”
