Y’all really out here talking yourselves OUT of your purpose… while I was over here a Military Spouse of almost 15 years using OTHER MilSpouses to prove what was possible.
I literally used Leslie-The-MilSpouse-Who-Ain’t-Never-Touched-A-Wig-In-Her-Life…
and sis GOT IT.
Meanwhile you still “don’t feel ready.” 👀
Funny how “not ready” magically disappears once you actually use what’s already sitting in your head and your hands.
I had NO connections.
NO network at that duty station.
NO fancy setup.
Just a skill, a camera, and something to prove — to myself first and foremost.
Leslie probably didn’t know a wig cap from a shower cap… but she left my house saying,
“Oh my God… I can really do this.”
And that testimony? GOLD.
That ONE video became part of the story that took me from “new in the area” → to training students across the country… and eventually AROUND THE WORLD.
Imagine that.
That moment rebuilt MY confidence.
That moment booked my first out-of-state client.
That moment proved I didn’t need a huge following — just WORK and willingness.
