Bus route information for the 2026-2027 school year is available. Families can find their student’s bus stop location, bus number, and pick-up and drop-off times online.

And don’t forget about the SMART tag Parent Portal app! Families can sign up for text notifications, including alerts when the bus is nearby and when their student gets on and off the bus.

Ready, set, roll! 🚌

We are proud to celebrate 25 new NEISD bus drivers who have completed their CDL training and are preparing to hit the road for the new school year.

Since June 1, these drivers have been learning, training and preparing to safely serve our students and families. They are now completing our two-day “Ready, Set, Roll!” class and will officially begin driving their routes on the first day of school.

Please join us in welcoming the newest members of the NEISD Transportation team! We are excited to have them behind the wheel and helping our students get to school safely each day. 🎉

The SMART Parent Web Portal is designed to enhance communication between the transportation department and the parents of student riders. SMART tag provides parents with improved security and leading-edge technology designed to keep students safe. You can receive text notifications, including when the bus is nearby and when your student gets on and off the bus.
