šSo, this morning I walked in on my 8yr old son, and he was sitting on the floor completely focused, building a robot from one of the kits we got him.I asked what he was working on and he said, āIām learning to code. I want to be an engineer!āIt made me feel excited and happy that he loved what he was doing so much that it made him imagine his future. I loved how he said it with such a quiet confidence ļæ¼completely unpromptedļæ¼.And hereās the thing. I know that desire didnāt come out of nowhere. Itās because of the things heās been exposed to. STEAM Camps like ours, that offer hands-on learning, time to explore and build and get curious.Sometimes kids donāt know what theyāre passionate about until they get the chance to try something that lights them up. Thatās really at the heart of what we do. Supporting parents as they guide their children into their bright future. ļ漚¤©Letty and I were reflecting this week on how much of a blessing our June camps were for us personally. Watching kids try new things, get excited about learning, start to believe theyāre capable of more than they thoughtā¦itās been incredible. We believe every parent wants their kids to thrive. To find purpose. To grow into the kind of person who can contribute to the world in a way thatās fulfilling for them and meaningful to others.Helping to make that happen is what weāre all about. If youāre still thinking about how to make this summer the best it can be for your child, weād love to have them in one of our July camps. Our camps in July are going to be superhero themed. Theyāre going to be helping superheroes solve real world, hands-on problems using their science, technology, engineering, art, and math skills! Itās going to be so much fun! šļæ¼ļæ¼Registration is open now and weāre offering 30 percent off through the 4th of July weekend. Just use the code āHappy4thā when you sign up.Posting a few photos from June so you can see some of what weāve been up to.Letās keep building.ššwww.theinnovativemindlab.com
