On April 4, 1987 a group of women introduced the sisterhood known as Sigma Sigma Sigma to St. Mary's On April 4, 1987, a group of St.

Mary's University's finest young women joined together to bring to their campus a sisterhood unlike any other. Together, they chartered the Epsilon Iota chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma National Sorority at St. Mary's University of San Antonio— a campus rich in tradition, Marianist values, and academic prestige.
