I just had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Ashley Stephens, LCSW-S for the Continuing Education for Mental Health Professionals Podcast. She's the co-founder of The Crane & the Bull and a Founding Member of CEUS.xyz (our CE directory born out of this community).

Dr. Stephens is a Board-Certified Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor with a background in cultural awareness, mindfulness, brain injury, and leadership development. She brings a wealth of expertise as a consultant, trainer, and educator.

In our conversation, Ashley shares her experiences navigating approval processes with NBCC, APA, ASWB, and state-level boards. She also discusses the intentional design behind her retreats—rooted in cultural humility, immersion, and ethical tourism.
