Heath Careers is proud to announce and welcome our new principal, Brad Hebert.

Mr. Hebert has a legacy at HCHS, starting in the English department in 2004. He stayed with us, while earning his Masters in Leadership and becoming our Assistant Principal.

From there, his journey took him to Harlan HS in 2019, as their AP through 2021 when he accepted the position of principal at Holmes NSITE.

Welcome back home, Mr. Hebert! Once a Phoenix always a phoenix. It’s a great day to be a phoenix!

Today, our counseling department and our Student 2 Student organization prepared a lovely Veterans Day celebration to honor all those who have served our country.

From our school community, a heartfelt thank you to all the veterans who have served our country. We are forever grateful for your service and sacrifice. It’s a great day to be a Phoenix!

HCMUN II. Head Delegates Walid Iqbal and Laeth Taha guided students through a Model UN simulation as we prepare for AlamoMUN at UTSA in November.

Recruiters from each military branch will be here to share information about the different types of military services and the opportunities they offer. The purpose of the event is to provide exposure to the military, and an opportunity for recruiters and soldiers to share their stories about their military careers and education benefits that can offer real-world perspectives and inspiration.
Students are encouraged to come check it out!

Congratulations to our dynamic counseling team for their recent NISD Green Apple Badge recognition. This recognition is being awarded to recognize the efforts of earning a Purple Star Campus status, a national recognition, for their ongoing work to support and recognize our military affiliated families.

Health Careers High School having a fabulous time in Edinburgh, Scotland during the EF Health Sciences in Great Britain Tour. Thank you to the wonderful teachers that joined our students to show them a unique summer experience. Summer is still in full swing and we hope you are having a great time resting and recharging! We can’t wait to see you on August 11th for the first day of school! It’s a great day to be a Phoenix!!

As we draw near to graduation, we look back at the impact our alumni have already made on the world, as they come back to campus to share stories with the current class of 2025. Featured here are students from the HC graduating classes of ‘21, ‘22, ‘23 and ‘24. We can’t wait to see our current seniors cross the stage as they embark on their next chapter of life! HCHS is going to be offering Independent Study Mentorship as a part of our course options. We are looking to pair our students with alumni and community members who are professionals that can offer insight and guidance to students in specialized fields!
