As we close another successful school year at Zamora Middle School, our hearts are filled with gratitude and pride. Today, we celebrated not only the accomplishments of our students and staff, but also the relationships, memories, and moments that made this year so special.
There were smiles, laughter, tears, and countless memories shared as we reflected on all we have achieved together. We also had the honor of recognizing our dedicated teachers and staff members for their years of service and celebrating those who are beginning a well-deserved retirement.
Thank you to every teacher, staff member, student, and family who contributed to making this a remarkable year. Your commitment, passion, and hard work have made a lasting impact on our Zamora family.

Our Youth Leadership Now (YLN) students wrapped up the year in an exciting way as they were presented with checks for their hard work tutoring students at our sister campus, SSAISD Roy P Benavidez Elementary, throughout the school year!
Through this program, our Jaguars built leadership skills, responsibility, communication, and confidence while making a real impact on younger students through academic support and mentorship. We are so proud of the commitment they showed all year long.
We also want to congratulate our essay reflection contest winners:

🍎☀️ FREE Summer Meals are back for Summer 2026! 🍉🍍
South San ISD will be providing FREE breakfast and lunch for all children 18 & under at the following locations this summer. No registration required!
📍 South San HS
📅 June 2 – July 2
⏰ Breakfast: 7:30–8:30 AM
⏰ Lunch: 11:30 AM–1:00 PM
📍 Palo Alto ES
📍 Armstrong ES
📍 Carrillo ES
📅 June 8 – July 28
⏰ Breakfast: 8:00–9:00 AM
⏰ Lunch: 11:30 AM–12:30 PM
⚠️ All sites will be closed July 6–10.
