Youth Game & Connection Nights are back this fall! 🎲✨

We are excited to share a youth resource we’re building for students in grades 7–10 (ages 12–16).

YGCN is a structured, phone-free Friday night program focused on helping youth build confidence, friendships, connection, teamwork, leadership, and a real sense of belonging through games, challenges, creativity, conversation, and positive community.

Youth ages 8–16 are welcome to join us for strategy, focus, fun, and connection through Othello/Reversi.

New club treasure unlocked! ♟️💚

My son is opening one of the Othello/Reversi sets we received for our San Antonio Youth Othello Club at BiblioTech EDU.

A special shoutout and thank you to the eBay vendor who kindly reduced the price as a donation to support the club. This is a used Gabriel Tournament Othello set, but it is still in great condition and ready for many young minds to learn, play, think, and grow.

For anyone who has never seen Othello before, this is what the game looks like: a simple board, black and white pieces, and a whole lot of strategy. The beauty of the game is that it teaches kids patience, focus, smart thinking, and how one good move can completely turn things around.

We’re so excited to bring this to the youth and watch them build confidence one move at a time. 💚

Today’s **Othello Club** meeting was such a success, and we were so happy to gather at BiblioTech EDU.

We learned some amazing strategies, practiced focus and patience, and enjoyed a fun, positive space to think, play, and grow. Moments like this remind us how powerful simple, meaningful activities can be for youth.

We’re already looking forward to next Tuesday and can’t wait to see everyone again 💚
