The Thomas Edison High School "Meet the Bears" Night is officially scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 6:00 PM on the school football field. This community pep rally showcases school clubs, student organizations, and athletic teams as they kick off the new school year.

Reminder: This Thursday, June 25 at 5:30 p.m., the public is invited to a community discussion centered around the positive vision for Edison High School. The district wants to hear from current, former and future Golden Bears. Families will also get to meet the campus’s new interim principal and athletic coordinators.

What an awesome surprise today at Edison! We had a very special visit from 1967 Golden Bear Alumni and author Patricia Good. She stopped by to catch up with Principal Dr. Carielo (Class of 1995) and, of course, paid a visit to Samson!
History lesson for our community: Patricia was actually a senior when Samson was first gifted to Edison! Decades later, Samson still stands tall at the entrance of our school, greeting everyone who walks through our doors.
Moments like this remind us that Edison pride runs deep and our traditions continue to be stronger than ever! Thank you for stopping by, Patricia! ✨
