✨Share one growth mindset phrase every child should hear. I’ll start:

“Mistakes help us learn.”

✨Before we can grow academically, we have to grow mentally.

Helping children turn…

“I can’t.”

into

“I can learn.”

Confidence changes everything. 🧠🩷

💡 Quick Reading Tip for Parents

When your child gets stuck on a word, try asking:

🔸What sound does the first letter make?
🔸Can you break the word into smaller parts?
🔸Does the word make sense in the sentence?

Instead of immediately giving the answer, guide them through the process. This helps build confidence and independence as a reader.

Common Misconception

❎Myth: Struggling readers just need to read more.

✅Truth: Many struggling readers need explicit instruction in foundational skills such as phonics, decoding, fluency, and comprehension.

More reading helps, but learning the right skills is what creates lasting progress 🤩

📚 A Reminder for Parents

If your child is struggling with reading, it does not mean they are behind forever.

Every child learns at their own pace. Some children need a little extra time, a different teaching approach, or additional practice to build confidence.

Progress may look small day-to-day, but those small victories add up to big growth.

Keep encouraging them. Keep celebrating the little wins. They are learning more than you realize. ❤️

If your child says “I can’t do this” before even trying…

it’s usually not about ability — it’s about confidence.

Many students struggle because they’ve started to believe they’re “not good” at a subject. Over time, that belief turns into frustration, avoidance, and self-doubt.

With the right support, patience, and approach, that mindset can change 🩷

Every child is capable — they just need guidance that works for them.

📩Message me if your child needs support in reading or math.

✏️ Math Tip for Parents:

If your child struggles with math, slow down and focus on understanding — not just getting the right answer.

Ask questions like:
✔ “How did you get that?”
✔ “Can you explain it in your own words?”

When children understand the why, math becomes much less overwhelming.

Small shifts can make a big difference! 🤩
