So proud of our Somerset teachers that are now part of the TIA designations, especially our very own teachers. We got 4 new ones!!!! Ms. Narvaez, Mrs. Trevino, Ms. Francis and Mr. Zuniga! Congratulations!

It is Teacher Appreciation Week and what a fun way to enjoy is dress up days. Now our students may not understand the 90's but it was an amazing decade! We like totally appreciate our teachers and like they are the best!

Savannah Heights has some of the most dedicated teachers and although it is a week to honor them, they truly deserve more.

And in true San Antonio fashion, game days let's even show our Spurs spirit. Game days are Spurs Days!

Field Day is next week! Please make sure to get the permission slips in! We would love to have all our students at the field with us even as spectators! See the flyer below for information as it is also on the permission slip!

We have one of the best! This is Ms. Freeman's first year as an AP in Somerset and she is definitely home. We at Savannah hope that she had a fabulous week as we celebrated her daily. Not enough tokens of love for her!!! Can't wait to grow in grace and become stronger next year!

We hope everyone enjoyed our Easter Break! This week we kick off our STAAR TESTING! Our students and teachers have worked hard to remind the state that they are ready to show what they have learned. On testing days- no backpacks are needed. Phones will be locked up as per testing and can be stored in the front office if needed. We hope these next 3 weeks our students continue to shine and keep shining bright!!!

Can't wait to see everyone back on Monday!!! Let's join in some fun with Junior High and see who does it better!!!

What an amazing week celebrating Texas public School week with our open house and Dr. Seuss Read across America. We hope our staff and students have a great spring break and we will see the students back on Monday,March 16th

What a successful Saturday tutoring camp! Thank you families for supporting your child in learning and having the opportunity to get a deeper understanding of specific targeted TEKS. Our 5th grade science and 6th grade math are all in it! From sharpening their craft to engaging in learning. Thank you families, thank you staff, and most of all thank you students for your dedication to spend Saturday morning with us! Be on the look out after Spring Break for more dates and different grades and content! All aboard together!'n

Don't forget to order your yearbook! First yearbook in the past 10 years! Our multi-media class has been working hard on the pages to make Savannah Heights yearbook amazing. We have order forms at school or you may order online with the website information and code below. Keep a piece of history and a moment in time.
