I believe part of our mission in reaching the lost is also showing compassion.
- Does your church know how to give support to those experiencing life's most difficult moments?
- Does your church have an End-of-life Initiative in place?
What is an End-of-Life Initiative?
- An End-of-Life Care Initiative is a structured, ministry-based effort that equips churches to provide compassionate, holistic care to individuals and families facing the end of life. It is a proactive approach that integrates spiritual, emotional, and practical support into the life of the church.
A Call to Compassionate Leadership
Creating an End-of-Life Care Initiative is not optional—it is a reflection of Christ’s love in action. The church must rise to meet the moment with purpose, prayer, and preparation.

Be a Beacon of Compassion—Sponsor a Course for Ministry Leaders
Pastors and ministry leaders are often called to sit beside the sick and the dying—yet few receive the training needed to offer spiritual, emotional, and practical care during life’s final chapter.
At the End-of-Life Care Institute, we provide biblically based, free training courses that prepare churches for this sacred responsibility. Courses like Pastoral Care Beyond Prayer, The Ministry of Presence, and More Than A Casserole are offered at no cost to participants—thanks to the generous sponsorship of churches like yours.
We invite you to become a beacon of compassion by sponsoring a course for a church leader.
Your sponsorship:
1. Equips other churches to serve well in end-of-life care
2. Extends your church’s ministry into a deeply needed area
3. Strengthens the wider Christian community’s response to death and dying
To discuss this opportunity further or to request a sponsorship packet, please reach out to us at [email protected].

Yesterday was my birthday, and God has blessed me with the honor of sharing it with my oldest son. I love being able to share my birthday with my oldest baby boy (man). I am so proud of both of my boys. They are my miracle babies and have brought so much joy to my life. I thank God for my awesome husband. He has been my best friend for over 27 years. I have not always been the best wife or friend. He has stuck with me as my husband/honey love for 24 years. I am so blessed by my family. They support me in my purpose. Thank you for celebrating my special holiday (and JP). I love you deeply.
So, I mentioned earlier that there are some common types types of doulas that are functioning in our society. the doula field is evolving. Before I began to list all the ones that I am familiar with, what types of doulas are you familiar with?
