Today is the last day of Dyslexia Awareness Month. A few things you might want to remember...First your child is a GIFT!

1.Most dyslexic's have average or above average intelligence but can be poor spellers (Grammar Nazi's can do a lot of harm to their fragile confidence)
2.Many kids with dyslexia are forgetful, so show some grace as you give them strategies to help them remember.
3.Dyslexia can affect the whole child and it's not always just reading. Math, and writing can be difficult for them as well.
4. Dyslexia can be a gift if you unwrap it with love and kindness. If you leave the package wrapped it will be become a stumbling block and hold the child back. UNWRAP THE PACKAGE!
