Our orchestra students represented the program well this week at the UIL Concert & Sightreading Evaluation. We are proud of the dedication, preparation, and musical growth each ensemble demonstrated on stage.
Sub Non-Varsity Orchestra earned a Division II in Concert and Division II in Sightreading, showing great effort and continued progress as they develop their ensemble skills.
Non-Varsity Orchestra also earned a Division II in Concert and Division II in Sightreading, reflecting the hard work and focus they have put in throughout the semester.
Varsity Orchestra performed with strong musicianship, earning a Division II in Concert and Division I in Sightreading, demonstrating their ability to quickly analyze and perform new music at a high level.
UIL Concert & Sightreading is about growth, discipline, and the courage it takes to step on stage and perform for judges. We are proud of our students for their commitment to the process and for representing our program with class.
The work continues, and we are excited to keep building and growing together as a program.
