Hey guys! I had so much fun playing 'store' with y'all!! BUT...
Well.... I've closed Del's Place because a greater venture fell right into my lap!

I'm hosting karaoke WooHoo!!!! I getting my start at Rookies Too! 9200 Broadway - outside Loop 410. I love it there! It's where I played shuffleboard.
Rookies Too has sweet decor. The crowd is comprised of friends and music lovers! And the owner is even sweeter. As a long time bar owner he's not that IN to karaoke so I haven't been able to get him up to sing.. but he's letting everyone else sing! And he's known to pour liquid courage for us to get tha party started!
(He's also a VERY good shuffleboard player)

Karaoke is on Tuesday nights from 8-midnight. And I be bringing Del's Place inventory and giving it away as prizes :)
I've had quite a few 1st Time singers in my month and a half there!!
The friendly, proficient bartenders make you the perfect drink to go with your snack or meal made fresh in the Hardcore Kitchen!

Now, it's only fitting that I host this karaoke at the flea market, too! In a couple of weeks you can stop by the bar/pub Saturday during the day and grab a cold one. You can even grab a mic and duet with us!
I'll have my Del's Place prizes for you, Rick is even going to pop some cold ones for y'all to get your juices flowing! I'm excited I still get to spend time there with all of the awesome vendors I got to know this past winter!!

So get your balls to the wall cuz the music is good and the music is loud! I realize you're living in your golden years and we will, we will rock you so LET THERE BE ROCK! And country! And oldies! And tejano! Blues, rap, and even freestyle!!

I want to thank everybody I met this weekend who liked my page. Its slow going.. but when it becomes as I imagine I know it will be so useful. For those looking for particular items as well as those just waiting for something new and different to catch their eye.
Mary- I'm on the hunt and will post some pretty blouses! This is starting to get fun!

I want to thank all of my good friends who paved the way (more often.. waiting for me to get organized) gently, patiently and positively pulling me when they had to. Listened to my excited, scattered yackety smackety until plans solidified. Loaned their cars and trucks, gave much of their time carrying heavy odds and ends to and fro for me, donated or invested in display cases, shelving, hardware, and so many cute little stacks of pretty paper for me to scribble ideas, prices, and homemade Tardy Slips on .. They never interfered- attempting to steer anything in a different direction, allowing this to truly be MY place. They never complained as months flew by- months of my clutter in their homes or business. (Seemingly) silently trusting in the eventual advent of progress. Though I've made sure to bestow their favorite items to them as the items surface.. these cats usually paid me for the items anyway, keeping me afloat while I spent too many hours googling prices and painting random boards and floors while I relaxed.
With all of the faith, dedication, efforts- happily given, and patience- freely given.. all of the belief and love driving this venture... I am truly going to enjoy flowing it, as such, to each of my (customers) new friends. My idea takes 'having a flea market table' to another realm altogether. I encourage everyone to add their shopping needs to my BigBookofDesires&Craves... So the evolutionary flow of del's place caters to you with purpose, garnished with endless interesting and oddity items to keep it fresh.
I'll post daily with pics of new items, sales, deals, freebies, percents and dollars off. I'll have weekly drawings for prizes and fun. Always.

Expect fun. Expect new friendships.
