Our 8th grade GT students went on a field trip and participated in the 8th Grade Cardboard Boat Regatta! Poe proudly brought home 1st Place, 3rd Place, and the Most Creative Boat Design Award from SAWS! We are so proud of our students for their hard work, creativity, and teamwork.

A huge thank you to Ms. Adams and our 8th grade team for making this amazing experience possible for our students! Great job, Poe Nation! 🚣‍♂️🏆🧡

Our Partners students had an amazing time celebrating the end of the year with a field trip to the Texas State Aquarium! Students enjoyed lunch at Whataburger before spending the day exploring the aquarium and discovering the wonders of marine life. From colorful sea creatures to interactive exhibits, the trip was filled with learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

It was a wonderful opportunity for students to relax, have fun, and celebrate all of their hard work and accomplishments throughout the year. We are so proud of our Partners students and all they have achieved!

Don’t forget, Poe Nation! Tomorrow we celebrate our 6th Grade Promotion Ceremony! 🎉 The ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. We invite all family and friends to join us as we recognize and celebrate our amazing students and their accomplishments. See you there!

✨️We had our Athletic Banquet this evening, and it was a wonderful time celebrating each and every athlete who participated in sports this school year. We enjoyed a delicious dinner catered by Olive Garden and had so much fun recognizing the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our student-athletes.

A special congratulations to our 8th Grade Lady Tigers for being Blue Zone Champions in Soccer, Basketball, and Volleyball two years in a row — back-to-back champs! We are also proud of our 7th Grade Lady Tigers, who are on their way to doing the same after winning Zone Champs in those same sports this year.

Congratulations to our 7th Grade Boys Soccer Team for winning the entire tournament and becoming District Champions!

Tonight, we celebrated every single athlete who represented Poe with pride, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the year.

A huge thank you to all of our coaches for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to each athlete. We also want to thank Gamez Law, Ms. Curtis, family, and her church family for helping make this special evening possible. Also, Mrs. Velinda Salas for the beautiful decorations! Poe Nation is proud of all of you!

Esta noche celebramos nuestro Banquete Atlético y fue una velada maravillosa reconociendo a cada atleta que participó en deportes durante este año escolar. Disfrutamos de una deliciosa cena preparada por Olive Garden y nos divertimos mucho celebrando el esfuerzo, dedicación y logros de nuestros estudiantes-atletas.

Una felicitación muy especial para nuestras Lady Tigers de 8.º grado por ser Campeonas de la Blue Zone en fútbol, baloncesto y voleibol ¡dos años consecutivos — campeonas consecutivas! También estamos muy orgullosos de nuestras Lady Tigers de 7.º grado, quienes van por el mismo camino al ganar Campeonatos de Zona en esos mismos deportes este año.

¡Felicidades al equipo de fútbol de 7.º grado varonil por ganar todo el torneo y convertirse en Campeones del Distrito!

Esta noche celebramos a cada atleta que representó a Poe con orgullo, determinación y espíritu deportivo durante todo el año.

Muchísimas gracias a todos los entrenadores por su arduo trabajo, dedicación y compromiso con cada atleta. También queremos agradecer a Gamez Law, a la Sra. Curtis, a las familias y a nuestra familia de la iglesia por ayudar a hacer posible esta noche tan especial. ¡Poe Nation está muy orgulloso de todos ustedes!
